Why HIIT?

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

HIIT is a type of interval workout where exercise is done in short bursts of intensity followed by short periods of rest. HIIT has many benefits:

  • Weight and fat loss. HIIT training burns a lot of calories in a short period of time.
  • Benefits can be seen even with a short workout duration.
  • HIIT boosts metabolism for hours after the workout allowing for continued calorie burn.
  • It's fun!

How to play HIIT2

It's easy to play

  1. Confirm that you are healthy and in a safe environment for exercise.
  2. Select if you want to choose your workout or have the game randomly choose items for your workout.
  3. Roll the dice, start the timer, and go.
  4. Images describing the workout and motivational quotes will help you succeed in your workout.
  5. Share your workout with friends or on social media.

This game was inspired as a project for the CNIT 195 course at City College of San Franisco.
